Can Loci work in airplane mode?
Yes. Once the model is downloaded, chat runs fully in airplane mode.
What does Loci need the internet for?
The initial model download and optional web search need a connection. Search can run when it is enabled and Loci needs current information. Everyday chat is local.
What if the company stops updating the model?
An installed model does not depend on a provider endpoint for ordinary chat. The app, operating system, and device still need to remain compatible with it.
Is Loci an emergency app?
No. Loci is not a substitute for emergency services, medical care, or safety-critical tools. It's an AI app that keeps working when networks do not.
